This Seth Thomas regulator dial was in poor condition with
severe, progressive delamination. Dial repairs such as this are difficult. Extreme caution is
required in retaining the areas with original characters by working around
them. When paint continues to flake off while the restorative work is in
progress it can prolong the time required in finishing the project. Fortunately
the results of this dial restoration were optimal considering the delicate nature of the situation.
