This is the most difficult dial restoration I have ever
accomplished. The dial is that of a clock I own, an English drop dial
clock, 12" in diameter. When I bought this clock the dial had been
crudely over-painted with an enamel paint. The botched restoration
itself evidently was many decades old. Virtually all the paint needed to
be painstakingly removed, yet the position and exact size of the
numerals needed to be retained to preserve the original character of
this hand painted dial. I'm pleased to show my skill at an extreme dial
restoration (But don't ask how many hours it took!)
